Introducing Crews: Build Your Aviation Network on Airport Code Quest
Evan Keller
Flying may often be a solitary pursuit, but the passion for aviation is best shared. Today we're excited to announce Crews, a new way to connect with fellow pilots on Airport Code Quest.
What Are Crews?
Crews bring the social side of aviation to Airport Code Quest. Connect with pilots you know, see what quests they're working on, and share the journey together.
How It Works
- Send an invitation. Enter a pilot's email address from the My Crew page
- Your Crewmate accepts. They'll get an email and can accept from their account
- You're connected. View each other's profiles and quest progress
The connection is mutual. When you accept someone's invitation, you both become part of each other's crew. No one-sided follows here, just genuine two-way connections between pilots.
Why We Built This
Airport Code Quest is about "expanding your iceberg" or pushing beyond familiar airports to discover new challenges and experiences. Crews makes that better. When you can share your progress with friends and see what they're conquering, it motivates you to push further. A little friendly competition never hurt anyone's logbook.
What's Next
This is just the beginning of social features in Airport Code Quest. We're laying the groundwork for more ways to connect, compete, and collaborate with your crew.
