There's something magical about looking at a map and seeing where you've been. As pilots, we collect memories at every airport: the crosswind landing at that grass strip, the perfect greaser at your home field, the first time you flew into Class Bravo airspace. Now, Airport Code Quest lets you see all those moments in one beautiful view.

Introducing Aviation Maps

Your flights page now features an interactive map that brings your logbook to life. Every airport you've landed at appears as a marker, and with a single click, you can toggle flight legs to see the paths you've flown connecting those dots across the landscape.

This isn't just any map. It's built for pilots.

Aviation-First Design

We've layered real airspace data onto the map so you can see your landings in context. Toggle on controlled airspace to see Class B, C, D, and E boundaries in their familiar chart colors. Planning a flight into busy airspace? You can visualize exactly which airports fall within those rings.

For pilots who venture near restricted areas, we've included Special Use Airspace overlays too: prohibited zones, restricted areas, MOAs, and alert areas. It's like having a sectional chart that updates with your personal flying history.

Your Achievements at a Glance

The map markers tell your story. Green checkmarks show airports you've visited. When you add a FlightAware link to verify a flight, the marker turns into a shield badge to prove you were really there. Verification pending? You'll see a clock icon while we confirm your track.

This visual system matches what you already see on quest pages, creating a consistent way to track your progress, whether you're working on a 100-mile range quest or just building your overall airport collection.

Personalized to Your Preferences

Choose between an aviation-focused basemap with muted roads and clear terrain, or switch to a street map for landmark references. The map automatically follows your system's light or dark mode, or you can override it to match your preference. Your settings are saved, so the map always looks exactly how you left it.
